The Yellow Bird Project Gets A Makeover

Have you had a peek at www.yellowbirdproject.com lately? As if this project wasn’t already amazing, they have given their website a complete makeover from head to toe. In case you aren’t familiar (living under a rock) with the project, what they do is get some of their favourite musicians (like Stars, The Shins, Rilo Kiley, Bon Iver etc.) to design a t-shirt with the proceeds going to the charity of the band or artist’s choice. How sweet. And now things over at YBP are just a little bit nicer looking with a whole new website with a host of new an exciting features.

So the Polaris Music Prize has rounded down that huge list of great Canadian albums released in the last year from 40 down to only 10. I love this award because it’s like the Canadian indie rock grammy’s. I always watch the grammy’s and they always suck (Best album by a male or whatever and the nominees are all rappers and r and b stars…riiiiight).
